Products labeled “Sold and shipped by Amazon” are sold by Amazon itself. Amazon is not the manufacturer of the products, but acquires them from third-party sellers.

These third-party sellers are known as vendors. Amazon concludes framework agreements with companies and buys large quantities of stock from these companies. Amazon then takes care of the logistics. The vendors’ products are therefore directly part of the Prime program and the Prime logo is displayed on the website.
Participation in the Vendor Program is by invitation from Amazon. Sellers who want to actively gain initial experience with the Vendor Program can apply for Vendor Express. Sellers can apply for this program with their products. Amazon requires a few product samples to assess the quality. After successful testing, the products are approved for participation in the Vendor Express program.
Amazon customers can filter explicitly for products that are sold and shipped by Amazon.
Go to the desired store. Simply select it from the selection under “View all categories” on the homepage. Then click on “Advanced search” in the light-colored navigation bar. In the right-hand column you will see the “Suppliers” menu. Select “Only offers from Amazon.de” if you only want these items to be displayed.
